The 3, 4 and 5 year olds from infants got to be autumn gourmets for a day in the Hontanar on Thursday. We tasted all the fruits of this delectable season and enjoyed the warm autumn sun whilst we picnicked. We learned about the different flora and fauna in the region, made some scarecrows, played with pumpkin guts and painted with natural objects while listening to autumnal music.
The youngest visitors to the Hontanar put their strength to the test using wheelbarrows to transport pinecones and pumpkins. Then some yummy lunch, a quick nap for some and a play for others before we got on the bus to come back to school to tell our families all about our adventure in the Hontanar.
